Who?
Brock’s sister, Jen is the runner. She will be supported by a crew made up of her sister, Nicole, her mom Debbie, and two amazing friends from her running community in NYC, Jams and Bobi. Together her crew will provide encouragement, and nutrition, tend to injuries, and run with her from time to time. They will also help fight off mountain lions, wild dogs, rattlesnakes and keep her from getting lost. Her dad, brother Brad, and sister-in-law Taylor will be cheering on at the finish.
What?
TSP is a 340-mile race from LA to Las Vegas through Death Valley/Mojave Desert. This self-supported, ultra-distance race is an extraordinary test of endurance; it is known for its grueling demands on runners as they navigate long distances with minimal support.

Each team decides how long or how short they want people to run, and in which direction. There are ‘no rules’ and no set designated route, runners can go whichever way they choose – by any means necessary, with one condition: no freeways. Most people complete as a team of runners, the most determined run it solo. Jen is in that most determined category.

We joke that Jen was jealous of Debbie's adventures in 2024 so she thought it was her turn!
In reality, this is a way to (1) practice ultimate discipline physically, (2) enjoy a team-supportive environment, and (3) continue conversations about mental health needs along the way.
