We are focused on destigmatizing those with serious mental illnesses (SMI) and using funds to work with directors of mental health departments/organizations to assist young people during the transitional ages of 17-25 years old. SMI typically presents during these already difficult years and mental health organizations are underfunded.
We will support topic-focused drop-in workshops to assist those with mental illness to help manage their illness between doctor appointments by recognizing and working through things that may present a trigger.
