Walk Across New York State Completed!

I'm Debbie, Brock's mom, after bicycling solo over 3,000 miles from San Diego to New York City  from March 9th until April  24th, I decided to complete another adventure. A 500+ mile walk drew attention to the urgent need for mental health resources and provided hope to those affected by mental illness. 

I posted often on my blog  and was delighted when others passionate about supporting mental health joined me and walked a block or miles. The walk started at LaGuardia Airport in NYC on September 27th and  headed through  Queens, Manhattan, The Bronx, Hudson Valley, Albany, Syracuse, Rochester ;  I finished on October 19th in Brock’s favorite neighborhood park, Sunset Park in Clarence near Buffalo, NY.   

By championing this cause, we can work together to alleviate the stigma surrounding mental health and help prevent suicide.
